The Sutherland Sharks are thrilled to announce the signing of Sydney flames point guard Vanessa Panousis for the 2024 NBL1 East. 

Returning to the Sharks for 2024 – Vanessa an elite point guard, will bring her WNBL experience  to the Sharks women’s lineup. 

Sharks GM Adrian Dark said “It’s great to have Vanessa back at our club. She is familiar with our team and players, having been with us before. She is an elite guard that is going to be able to help us not only win games of basketball but mentor and grow our young players coming through. It’s an exciting time for our women’s program”. 

Vanessa will link up with her new teammates today and will be ready to fire on Saturday 6th April vs the Penrith Panthers.
