The Sutherland District Basketball Association is excited to release the 2025 coaching appointments for our Senior Waratah League Teams.
Returning to our Youth Men Division 2 as head coach in 2025 is Steve Delaney. Off the back of a Grand Final appearance Coach Delaney will once again take the reins of the Youth Men 2 assisted by Lochlan Stewart.
Newly promoted to Division 1 in 2025 the Sutherland Basketball Association is excited to announce the appointment of Lochlan Hutchison as the Division 1 Youth Men’s Head Coach. Hutchison will be assisted in 2025 by experienced senior coach and former Waratah men’s head coach Adam Smith.
Returning for a 3rd season as head coach of our Youth League Women is Jake Rues. Jake will be assisted in 2025 by Stephen Craig and together will look to continue to build the foundation of our women’s youth league program.
As previously advertised Sutherland Basketball is in the final steps to field a Waratah men’s team in 2025. Announcements on coaches and trial information will be made at a later date.
