The Sutherland District Basketball Association is thrilled to announce the signing of former Illawarra Hawks forward Luke Jamieson for the 2025 NBL1 season.
Jamieson, an experienced campaigner, has played multiple seasons in the NBL for the Illawarra Hawks and has most recently been applying his professional talents in the 3×3 arena attending events across the world in the 3×3 format. Jamieson, an athletic forward, will be a crowd-pleaser for the Sharks fans with his aerial abilities and will be a huge addition to the Sharks line up to partner with Jason Spurgin and Geoff Gerlach.
Sharks General Manager Adrian Dark said “Jamo is a huge addition to our club – It’s not often you get access to a guy who has multiple years’ experience in the NBL and international 3×3. I have no doubt the Sharks faithful will love Jamo. He brings athleticism, he is exciting to watch and he is a tremendous guy both on and off the court. I can’t wait to see what he does in the NBL1 arena in 2025.”
Jamieson will be available for the Sharks round 2 away fixture against the Hills Hornets and will make his home debut at the Shark Tank in round 3 vs the Bankstown Bruins.
