The Sutherland Sharks are thrilled to announce that Shaun Roger will return to the Sharks in 2026 as head coach of the NBL1 Men.

Fresh off a top 4 finish in NBL1 East 25, coach Roger is looking to build upon the success of last season and go one step further into grand final glory in 2026.

General Manager Adrian Dark said “I am thrilled to have Shaun back with us in 2026. Not only is he an outstanding basketball coach but also an outstanding person. We saw a huge jump in the league standard in 2025 and having someone like Shaun lead our program is such an asset to the club. I can’t wait for 2026 and the roster and vision he has for our NBL1 program.”
