The Sutherland District Basketball Association are thrilled to announce the re-signing of Sharp Shooting forward Ryan Abbott for the 2026 NBL1 East Season.
Ryan returns to the Sharks for his 2nd season in the blue and black and will be keen to cement his position as one of the premier shooters in the NBL1 East. Abbot is an Athletic forward who can contribute both as an elite scorer and rebounder is a huge asset to coach Roger and the Sharks’ men’s team as they continue to build a roster capable of challenging for the NBL1 East title.
Sharks General Manager Adrian Dark said, “Ryan has become a key piece for us. Right from his arrival last year, he has been a guy who is an ultimate professional. He is building himself into a key forward across the league, and I can’t wait to see what year 2 looks like for Ryan and his continued rise through the NBL1”.
Catch AC and the rest of the Sharks Men’s and Women’s teams as they battle the Sydney Comets on opening night at the Shark Tank Saturday, 28th March. Women are at 5 pm & Men are at 7 pm.
