The Sutherland District Basketball Association is thrilled to announce the signing of Sydney Kings Sharpshooter Tyler Robertson for the remainder of the 2026 NBL1 East Season.

Robertson, fresh off an NBL championship with the Sydney Kings, is ready to set the Shark Tank alight and will return to the court after a late-season shoulder injury via the Sutherland Sharks in the NBL1 East. Renowned for his shooting and all-around scoring ability, Tyler is a huge asset to Coach Rogers’ team as they look to continue their ascent up the NBL1 East Ladder.

Robertson will commence team practice this week, with an anticipated game debut scheduled for May 30th.

Sharks General Manager Adrian Dark said “Tyler is a guy that no matter what jersey he pulls on, he bleeds for the team and the club he plays for. He is an amazing person who wants to contribute positively for all the young athletes and people here at the Sutherland Sharks. I can’t wait to see the on-court combinations with Jason Spurgin, Loch Hutch, AC, Lucas Walker, Ryan Abbott, Bailey Macarthur and the rest of the squad. I’m excited and I think the Sharks fans should be as well. I think Tyler’s presence will unlock another level for the Sharks Men’s Team.”

While Tyler won’t hit the court this weekend, he will be at the Shark Tank this Saturday as the Sharks take on the Crusaders in a huge NBL1 East clash.
