The Sutherland Sharks are thrilled to announce the appointment of Angus Bourke as head coach of the Sharks NBL1 Men for the next two seasons.

Bourke is no stranger to the Sharks NBL1 Men’s program, having served as the lead assistant coach for the last two seasons, bringing familiarity and consistency to the high-flying Sharks outfit.

Bourke will manage the Sharks NBL1 Men’s program alongside his position as head coach of the NSW metropolitan Men’s team and will be keen to hit the ground running and re-establish a championship roster.

General Manager Adrian Dark said, “I am thrilled to have Angus with us as our head coach. Angus is not only an outstanding and experienced basketball coach but also an outstanding person. We saw a huge jump in the league standard in 2026, and having someone like Angus lead our program is such an asset to the club. I can’t wait for 2027 and the roster and vision he has for our NBL1 Men’s program.”
