The Sutherland District Basketball Association is thrilled to announce the signing of athletic power forward Luke Jamieson for the 2026 NBL1 season.

Jamieson will return for season number two with the Sutherland Sharks NBL1 Men’s outfit and has fast become a key member of head coach Shaun Rogers engine room. Standing at 6-10, Jamieson will form a lethal combination with recent new recruit James Hunter and will look to build on his successful 2025 campaign, where he averaged 12pts – 8rebs – 2 assists.

Sharks General Manager Adrian Dark said “Jamo is such an important piece for our team and our club. It’s not often you get access to a guy who has multiple years of experience in the NBL and international 3×3. I thought Jamo was great for us last year and I think 2026 will be even bigger for him. I know Shaun is just as excited to have him back as I am.”

Catch Luke and the rest of the Sharks Men’s and Women’s teams as they battle the Sydney Comets on opening night at the Shark Tank, Saturday, 28th March. Women are at 5 pm & Men are at 7 pm.
