The Sutherland District Basketball Association is thrilled to announce the return of forward Angus Lake for the 2025 NBL1 season.

Fresh off the 2024 campaign where Angus featured heavily for the Sharks Men’s side, Angus will look to cement his spot in coach Roger’s rotation and continue to develop his game as a key piece for the Sharks in NBL1 East 25.

Sharks General Manager Adrian Dark said “Angus is a championship winner for our club and is a tremendous young player. I’ve watched over the last few seasons Angus develop and refine his game and what’s exciting about Angus is that he is still so young. He has a huge future ahead of him and I think being in a system under the guidance of Shaun Roger will only increase his level as a player.”

Angus and the rest of the Sharks Men’s team are now heavily into preparations for round 1 where the Sharks will battle the Penrith Panthers on opening night at the Shark Tank Saturday 29th of March. Women are at 5pm & Men are at 7pm.
