The Sutherland District Basketball Association is thrilled to announce the re-signing of Local Junior and championship-winning captain Geoff Gerlach for the 2025 NBL1 East Season.

Geoff has played a pivotal role in driving the Shark’s culture of the Sutherland Men’s team over the last 6 years and will look to add another championship banner to what continues to be a glittering career for the Sharks.

Sharks General Manager Adrian Dark said “When we talk about Geoff Gerlach, we talk about someone who I consider to be in the club legend conversation. He has represented our club at the elite level since he was 10 years old. He bleeds black and blue and he continues to show the same drive and passion to play and represent the Sharks as he did when he first started. I’m proud of Geoff and what he has done for our club and I’m delighted he is going to be part of our team again in 2025.”

Geoff and the NBL1 Men’s team are preparing to battle the Penrith Panthers on opening night at the Shark Tank Saturday 29th March. Women are at 5pm & Men are at 7pm.
