Whether your child is keen to join the Sharks Rep Program or just looking to brush up on their skills, this program will help them reach their potential. The program focuses on sharpening up skills, with small sided games designed to engage and improve decision making through technical and tactical aspects of basketball. Children will understand basic offensive and defensive concepts and strategies, be ready to play local competition and understand the terminology used at Rep Level. They will also become proficient in the “Sutherland 6” core fundamentals of basketball, including passing, shooting, footwork, dribbling, decision-making, and defence. Sharks basketballs and singlets are available for purchase at the stadium. Basketballs are also available to borrow during the session if required.
