The Sutherland District Basketball Association is thrilled to announce the return of local junior Bailey Macarthur to the Sharks NBL1 Men’s team for season 2025.

Fresh off featuring heavily for NSW in the recent under 20s Nationals tournament, Bailey will return to the Sharks men’s team for his second season in the NBL1 East.

Sharks General Manager Adrian Dark said “It’s always exciting when junior talent like Bailey works their way through the system into our NBL1 program. Bailey was able to get good quality time in NBL1 24 and he handled the level really well. I’m looking forward to seeing Bailey build his game under the guidance of coach Roger and I think the Sharks fans should get excited about the future of one of our local juniors.”

Bailey and the rest of the NBL1 Men’s team are well into preparations to battle the Penrith Panthers on opening night at the Shark Tank Saturday 29th March | Women are at 5pm & Men at 7pm.
