NBL1 is a semi-professional basketball league in Australia. NBL1 consists of South, North, Central, West, and East Conferences with both men’s and women’s competitions.
Sutherland Basketball Association is a part of the NBL1 East Conference.
The season normally commences around April and finals are held in August. The winning Men and Women’s teams from NBL1 East progress to the NBL1 National Finals.
Registrations are now open to trial for Youth League Men & Women, Waratah Men, and NBL1 Men & Women.
Cost: $30 per player
All athletes must attend the Open Trial, even if they represented Sutherland at Senior level in 2025. Invited athletes for Week 2 will be listed on the SDBA website by Wednesday 12th November. Invited players will not be required to pay another trial fee.Becoming a Sharks player is about more than just wearing the uniform. It’s about being part of a team where every player is valued.
