The Sutherland District Basketball Association is calling for expressions of interest from suitably qualified coaches for the position of Head Coach of the 2027 NBL1 East Women’s team.

 

We are seeking a passionate and committed individual who is eager to develop our young players, build a positive team environment and contribute to the continued success of our Sharks NBL1 Women’s program.

 

𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮:

· Demonstrated head coaching experience within the NBL1, state team or a basketball high-performance program.

· Demonstrated experience in developing and nurturing junior athletes along with demonstrated knowledge on implementing best practices for player development.

· Knowledge of basketball/sport scouting software (Hudl, Sports code, Synergy)

· Valid NSW Driver’s Licence

· Valid NSW WWC

· Valid First Aid Accreditation

· Minimum Association Level coaching accreditation (formerly level 2)
