The Sutherland District Basketball Association are thrilled to announce the re-signing of local junior Olivia Douglas for the 2026 NBL1 East season.

Olivia will return for NBL1 East 2026 in the black and blue, keen for another tilt at an NBL1 East title.

Douglas, known for her consistent double-double efforts, will be a key piece for head coach Michael Turton and the Sharks women as they balance high-octane scoring with defensive strength and leadership.

Sharks General Manager Adrian Dark said “Olivia has been huge for our club, she is a Sharks Junior through and through and bleeds the black and blue uniform, Liv gives you things on a basketball court that not all players want to give and that’s consistent effort and determination and I know that her presence around the group is important to the balance and chemistry that makes up this team.”

Catch Liv and the rest of the Sharks Men’s and Women’s teams as they battle the Sydney Comets on opening night at the Shark Tank, Saturday, 28th March. Women are at 5 pm & Men are at 7 pm.
