The Sutherland District Basketball Association is beyond excited to announce the signing of Sydney Kings superstar Kouat Noi for the remainder of the 2025 NBL1 East season.
Noi, a high-energy 6-7, 2.01cm forward is no stranger to the big stages in basketball. A huge year for the Sydney Kings has seen him average 14.6 pts and 3.4 rebounds per game and was capped off by becoming the NBL 6th man of the year. To round out a busy schedule for Kouat, he played a short 6-week stint in the Chinese CBA for the Ningbo Rockets where he averaged 18 pts and 4.3 rebounds per game and produced multiple stand-out performances.
Sharks fans and the NBL1 East will not have to wait long to see Kouat in action as he will return to Australia to link up with Coach Roger and the Sutherland Sharks in early April.
Sharks General Manager Adrian Dark said “I think it’s fair to say this is one of the biggest – if not THE BIGGEST signing in the NBL1 East to date. I am thrilled to have Kouat join us. I think he is going to be amazing for our club. You only have to look at what he has achieved in his career to understand that he is going to have a huge impact on basketball here in the Sutherland Shire and I hope people appreciate what a special talent he is.”
