The Sutherland District Basketball Association (SDBA) wishes to provide an update regarding the recruitment process for the Director of Coaching & Player Development role recently advertised.

Following an extensive recruitment and interview process, the Association has not reached a suitable agreement with a candidate at this time. As a result, the position will remain unfilled for the immediate future. We wish to recognise the high calibre of candidates who applied for the position.

SDBA remains firmly committed to the long-term growth and success of basketball within our community. The Board and Management team will take this opportunity to review and refine a range of initiatives to ensure the continued professional delivery of coaching development and player pathways.

We acknowledge the importance of maintaining open and transparent communication with our members and stakeholders. Our priority is to secure the right talent to support the evolving needs of our growing Association, and we sincerely appreciate the understanding and support of our community as we navigate this process.
