The Sutherland Sharks are thrilled to announce the return of Sharks junior Aislinn Waller for the 2026 NBL1 Season.

Waller, a combo guard, will return to the Sharks Women after a breakout year in 2025, which saw her grow in confidence after extended court minutes towards the end of the season.

Aislinn will juggle double duties for the Sharks in 2026, turning out for the U23 Sharks Youth Women as well as the NBL1 and use her versatility and athleticism to add to the Sharks’ impressive guard lineup already boasting the likes of Ella Dent and Jordyn Dewhurt.

Sharks General Manager Adrian Dark said “It’s always important that we are looking to the future, and Aislinn is one of those players who has a bright future. We saw in 2025 that her confidence as a player grew and she really started to impact games with her athletic ability. 2026 is going to be huge for Ash and I think we have only just seen the beginning of a very, very bright future.”

Catch Aislinn and the rest of the Sharks Women’s and Men’s teams as they battle the Sydney Comets on opening night at the Shark Tank, Saturday, 28th March. Women are at 5 pm & Men are at 7 pm.
