The Sutherland Sharks are thrilled to announce the signing of versatile guard Jordyn Dewhurst for the 2026 NBL1 East Season.
Jordyn, a dynamic guard who will focus solely on the NBL1 program, having graduated from the Sharks youth league system, will return to the NBL1 women’s for her 5th season, fresh off the back of an Emerging Flames campaign providing head coach Michael Turton with a steady force at the guard position.
Sharks General Manager Adrian Dark said, “It’s wonderful to see Sharks juniors continuing their journey in our elite programs. Jordyn is showcasing that she has the skill set and determination to be successful at the NBL1 level, and I believe 2026 will be a year where she showcases that talent and versatility”.
Jordyn and the rest of the Sharks Men’s and Women’s teams battle the Sydney Comets on opening night at the Shark Tank, Saturday, 28th March. Women are at 5 pm & Men are at 7 pm.
