What is the Sharks Academy?
The Sharks Academy is a specially designed program for young athletes who have shown strong potential and passion for the game. This program helps bridge the gap between our learn to play programs and representative pathways, providing extra skill development and training for players ready to take that next step.
How are athletes selected?
Players are generally identified through Junior Development Programs, School Programs, Holiday Camps, or Local Competitions. However, all interested players are welcome to trial.
What can players expect from the program?
The Sharks Academy focuses on individual skill development, game understanding, and structured training to prepare young athletes for higher levels of competition. The program fosters a love for the game while pushing players to reach their full potential.
Trial Details:
Tuesday, April 8
🏀 7-9 Year Olds – 4 -5PM
🏀 10-12 Year Olds – 5-6PM
Cost: $15 per trial
Venue: Sutherland Basketball Stadium
Please note: Our current Sharks Academy schedule remains the same with no changes to existing participants or sessions. These trials below are an additional intake for new players aged 7-9 and 10-12 who want to join the program and work towards future representative basketball opportunities.
